Actor and DJ Idris Elba, also known as DJ Driis recently stopped by the studio to work on his mixtape inspired by his most recent movie Takers that held the number 2 spot in the box office during the summer. The mixtape entitled Driis Presents: Takers the Motion Picture Mixtape features tracks by artists including Nicki Minaj, Kanye West, Jay-Z, Swizz Beatz, Muse, Black Rob, Inspectah Deck, Raekwon, and Rick Ross and was released earlier this month.
Elba's film and television credits include HBO's The Wire, Obsessed featuring Beyonce, Tyler Perry's Daddy's Little Girls, Showtime's The Big C, and American Gangster.
