JAMBOX Welcomes Claremont Prep!

JAMBOX had the opportunity to play host to high school students from New York's Claremont Preparatory School. 14 high school (9th and 10th grade) students all around the age of 14 came into JAMBOX to partake in the school tours program as a part of their Project Week. What started out as a typical school tour, turned into a jam session when all the students brought their instruments. The students are a part of Claremont Prep's jazz band under the direction of teacher Pete Robbins. The band consisting of drums, trumpets, electric guitars, piano, flute, clarinet, and bass played by special guest Alex Layne took turns recording the songs "Chameleon" by Herbie Hancock and "Caramba" by Lee Morgan.

Keep making music kids!
