Lori Michaels is Go Magazine's "Top 100"

Lori Michaels stirs the media's interest once again in the latest issue of Go Magazine, the nation's most widely distributed free lesbian publication. Lori is a part of this year's "100 Women We Love." The list features, in no particular order, 100 of the most influential and proactive members of the lesbian community as defined by Go Magazine. Recognizable faces along with Lori Michaels include celebrities such as Wanda Sykes, Ellen DeGeneres, and Sex and the City's Cynthia Nixon. In addition to her feature in Go Magazine, Lori attracted the attention of Curve Magazine in 2008 and earned a spot as one of their Entertainers of the Year. Lori's track record continues to impress and influence us everyday here at JAMBOX and we wish her the best as we walk with her every step of the way!

In addition to her appearance in Go Magazine, Lori Michaels is back at JAMBOX with her new single and video world premiere, "Meet Me at the Partay." "Meet Me at the Partay" is an energetic track featuring Sasha A. Mess and featured on the new documentary, "P-Town Dairies" scheduled for its world premiere on July 25 on Logo "P-Town Dairies" is a documentary directed by Joseph Mantegna about the fascinating history of the small Massachusetts town, Provincetown. "P-Town Dairies" embraces several critical cultural and historical points weaved into today's American society throughout this small town, including the celebration of gay and lesbian rights and the power to be individualistic.

Lori Michaels, Lee Evans, and Cathy Palmisano are celebrating Reach Out Inc.'s 20th anniversary. Lori Michaels shot a PSA for the CW11's Care for Kids program, which helps children in the tri-state area through funding, community outreach, and on-air programing. The PSA will run on the CW Channel 11.

DJ Mike Cruz remixes of Lori Michaels' "Meet Me at the Partay" from the album Living My Life Out Loud are set for digital release on January 27th and will be available to purchase through Itunes, Amazon, Rhapsody, and other major online retailers. Tonight: Our Youth's 3rd Annual World AIDS Event

Lori Michaels and Nicole Ortiz will be performing tonight at Our Youth’s 3rd Annual World AIDS Day Event in Jersey City. $20 donation includes dinner (5:30pm until 6:45pm). Showtime at 7pm with Music by DJ John Marto and special guest performers to benefit The Joey DiPaolo AIDS Foundation & Reach Out, Inc's A.N.G.E.L. Initiative. The event will take place at Our Youth Center located at 155 North Street, Jersey City, New Jersey 07307. Find out more about Our Youth here.

Lori Michaels is this week's NY1 New Jersey Person of the Week for her amazing work with Reach Out. See the video, in which she talks about what inspired her to start the nonprofit organization, here.

Reach Out, Inc. is a non-profit organization that educates and promotes awareness about the perils of illegal drugs, alcohol abuse, tobacco, crime, violence, prejudice, and life threatening diseases such as AIDS and Cancer. This New Jersey based non-profit organization was founded in 1989 by Lori Michaels, who at the time was only sixteen years of age. For over sixteen years, Reach Out, Inc. and its volunteers have been inspiring people, especially our youth to attain their personal potential, and to make a difference in their lives and in the lives of others.

Lori Michaels debut CD on Reform Records entitled, "Living My Life Out Loud" is being digitally released TODAY on major digital outlets such as: iTunes, Rhapsody, Amazon, etc. You can go to any of these digital retailers and check out the highly anticipated album!
